Oct 21st 'A new home'

Betty and I helped my mother eat her lunch, turkey, green beans, stuffing and butterscotch pudding for dessert.

After lunch I spoke with the Coordinator of Therapy at Blake Hosptial. He feels that my mother will be in the hospital for at least another few days and possible a week. As I already was aware of, he cofirmed that my mother has a 'long road' to recovery.

However, it's not the worst news. Again my mother has a lot going for her already. With the brain surgery it will take awhile for the brain to 'recover'.

After my mother is released from the hospital, she will need an intense residential rehabilitation center for at least a few months.

With that said, after lunch, Betty and I got 'the list' of rehabilitation centers we decided to check out "Freedom Village". They are located very close to the hospital. At this point we were pleased with what we found.
