Sunday Betty told me that my mother had a small infection and some 'wheezing' in her lungs. The doctors put my mother on antibiotics and back on oxygen. Initially I was upset but Betty told me that the infection was not 'serious' and that the doctors were closely monitoring her.
Monday, my mother got her staples out! Can't wait to see her!
I talked with Betty tonight.

Betty informed me that Dr. Boyer (neurosurgeon) mentioned to Betty that my mother had moved her R knee. It was very slightly but she moved it!!!!!!
Also, my mother's R side of her face is getting stronger. Her smile is more 'even'.
My mother is still in GREAT spirits and is very eager to start therapy.
We are projecting that my mother will be out of the hospital by EARLY next week (Monday or Tuesday).
My mother also asked Betty to bring her cell phone in so that she could call me one morning this week! Thursday she will be calling our house!
I can't wait to hear her voice and talk to her!
