Nov 28 'Very Thankful'

I called my mother and Betty last night.

Betty gave me FANTASTIC news! She told me that (per the PT that works with my mother and helping her walk) my mother walked DOWN AND BACK on the paralell bars the other day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My mother is incredible, so are her therapists!

My mother's voice is regaining the inflection in her voice!!!! YEAH!

When I was down last, Betty, my mother's OT and I thought that my mother should eat all meals in the dining room. However, because of the system that the center has (takes awhile to get food when eating in the dining room) my mother hardly eats much b/c she is very tired from therapy.

Since then, my mother is back in her room eating dinner (only). This way the nurses are able to get her ready for bed, then her food arrives, she eats and then can go to sleep anytime she wants.

I will be calling her in the next few days.
