Nov 23rd 'Til Next Month'

Even though I'm sad that I'm leaving my mother (and warm sunny Florida), I know that the next time I see my mother, she will have more great surprises for me! I'm not going to guess b/c that's why they are called surprises!

I stayed in my mother's room until about 1am....then I ran out of gas!

If you are reading this today (Sunday) tomorrow or Tuesday, please say a "happy birthday" for my mother. Her birthday is Tuesday the 25th!
Some highlights of the trip, my mother:

- 'graduated' to solid foods
- took her first 'slide' step with her R leg! :)
- was able to move her R shoulder a little (great job MOM)
- is using less assistance when she is eating!
- had some flexion in her R hand during therapy
- had her hair done and looked beautiful
- 'graduated' to eating in the dining room (from her room)

I'll write more later if I think of more accomplishments!
