A kiss for my mother

I was allowed back to my mother's prep area before she went into surgery. We talked a lot about how excited she was about being at the 'top of her game', quit smoking and was ready to enjoy her grandkids!

Dr. Boyer stopped in, per my request, and we finally met (previous conversations were via phone). My mother was very 'upbeat' and impressed with Dr. Boyer. After briefly talking with him about the procedure(s), I too was impressed. He was very personable and confident that my mother was going to benefit from these procedures!

As I kissed my mother and told her that I loved her she winked at me!
